With 18 years of hands-on experience in the hair industry and an unwavering passion for her craft, Katelyn has built a career rooted in artistry and precision. Her journey began at the Aveda Institute in Toronto, where she graduated with honours in both the beginner and advanced programs. This achievement led her to the educator-in-training program, launching her into a dynamic career that took her through Calgary, Toronto, and Vancouver.
Katelyn has excelled in roles such as Educator and Creative Director at the Aveda Institutes, where she designed looks for shows and presentations, participated in international events, and contributed backstage at New York Fashion Week. While she has explored many facets of the industry, her true passion has always been working one-on-one with clients to craft personalized styles that reflect their individuality.
Previously, Katelyn was the proud owner of her own space, where she delivered exceptional artistry and cultivated a warm, creative atmosphere. Now back in Ontario, she is thrilled to join the Thatch & Fringe team. Dedicated to both her craft and continuous growth, Katelyn’s mission is to help clients express themselves through hair while always evolving as an artist.
